description | In Colombia, the high rate of homicides committed against communal social leaders, land restitution, ex-combatants, peasants, etc. (nearly 1,000 in the last 30 months) demonstrates the need to train in social justice and preservation of life as a focus on culture embedded in the most precious good of human beings, which we all must preserve. Does the current University in Colombia serve training in social justice and the culture of life? On this question, it can be affirmed that one starts from a serious problem of social exclusion, which leads to a culture of ignorance of life and change of political, social or economic power. The theoretical framework will emerge from a construction based on the experience of the Orlando Fals Borda Human Rights Observatory at UPTC. In addition, there is the controversy about the formation in values and anti-values in the University, for which undoubtedly the defense of inclusive social justice and life in conditions of dignity must be taken. Thus, the need to adjust curricula and content is concluded, explaining the incardination of knowledge that guides existence towards the defense of criteria of social justice, which in parallel allows building a society where the culture of life prevails and the Uplifting peace Very linked to this effort is the protection of water factories and their governance. Therefore, it is essential to know the processes that, from the Primo Levi research group, have been advanced in this regard, around the Pisba wasteland and other human and nature rights. En Colombia, el alto índice de homicidios cometidos contra líderes sociales comunales, de restitución de tierras, excombatientes, campesinos, etc., (cerca de 1000 en los últimos 30 meses) demuestra la necesidad de formar en justicia social y preservación de la vida como un enfoque de cultura incardinada en el bien más preciado de los seres humanos, el cual todos debemos preservar. ¿Sirve la Universidad actual en Colombia a la formación en justicia social y la cultura de la vida? Sobre esta pregunta, se puede afirmar que se parte de un grave problema de exclusión social, el cual lleva a una cultura de desconocimiento de la vida y cambio de poder político, social o económico. El marco teórico surgirá de una construcción desde la propia experiencia del Observatorio de Derechos Humanos Orlando Fals Borda en la UPTC. Además, se encuentra la polémica sobre la formación en valores y antivalores en la Universidad, para lo cual indudablemente debe tomarse partida en defensa de la justicia social incluyente y la vida en condiciones de dignidad. Se concluye, de esta manera, en la necesidad de ajustar currículos y contenidos, explicitando la incardinación de saberes que orienten la existencia hacia la defensa de criterios de justicia social, los cuales permiten paralelamente construir una sociedad donde prime la cultura de la vida y la paz edificante. Muy ligado a este esfuerzo, está la protección de las fábricas de agua y su gobernanza. Por ello, resulta fundamental conocer los procesos que, desde el grupo de investigación Primo Levi, se ha venido adelantado al respecto, en torno al páramo de Pisba y otros derechos de los humanos y la naturaleza.
