Neste artigo, intentamos compartilhar os resultados de uma investigação que objetivou levantar as principais marcas de implantações de diretrizes curriculares para a formação de professores e o ensino de Matemática nas principais reformas curriculares presentes na literatura. Em termos metodológico, a investigação se caracteriza como pesquisa bibliográfica e documental em currículos prescritos. Como resultados, foi possível caracterizar marcas de implantações de diretrizes curriculares para a formação de professores e a docência em Matemática nos seguintes movimentos de reformas: Lei de Primeiras Letras (e as Escolas Normais), Reformas Francisco Campos, Reforma Gustavo Capanema, Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional de 1961, Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional de 1971 e Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional de 1996.
