of Juan Manuel Santos, president reelected in Colombia for the period 2014-2018, to
determine and characterize the strategies of legitimation that allowed the adhesion of voters.
The present research is mixed, as techniques were used non-participant observation and
content analysis, respectively; and the instruments that each offers, such as notebooks and
a scheme of analysis that allows to determine the units and categories of analysis. The
analysis of the results shows that the legitimation strategies present in the videos delimit
the identity of one group (as opposed to another), associate moral values with each one, he
uses symbolic frames and rhetorical resources to support the representations that are made
of each actor (or group), appeal to arguments of authority and use a prescriptive form, to
influence public opinion. |

El objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar los videos propagandísticos de la campaña presidencial de Juan Manuel Santos, presidente reelecto en Colombia para el periodo 2014-2018, para determinar y caracterizar las estrategias de legitimación que permitieron lograr la adhesión de los votantes. La presente investigación es mixta, como técnicas se emplearon la observación no participante y el análisis de contenido; y los instrumentos que cada una ofrece, respectivamente, tales como libretas de apuntes y un esquema de análisis que permite determinar las unidades y categorías de análisis. El análisis de los resultados da cuenta de que las estrategias de legitimación presentes en los videos ayudan a delimitar la identidad de un grupo (en oposición a otro), asociar valores morales a cada uno, utilizar marcos simbólicos y recursos retóricos para sustentar las representaciones que se hacen de cada actor (o grupo), apelar a argumentos de autoridad y emplear una forma prescriptiva, para lograr configurar e influir en la opinión pública. L’objectif de cette recherche a été celui d’analyser les vidéos de la campagne présidentielle de Juan Manuel Santos, le président Colombien réélu pour la période 2014- 2018, avec l ́intention de déterminer et caractériser les stratégies de légitimation qui ont permis d’obtenir l’adhésion des votants. Cette recherche s ́inscrit dans une approche mixte, les techniques utilisées ont été l’observation non participante et l’analyse de contenu ; ainsi que les instruments que chacune offre, tels que des cahiers de route, et autre schéma permettant de déterminer les unités et les catégories d’analyse. Dans l’analyse des résultats, il est évident que les stratégies de légitimation dans les vidéos délimitent l’identité d’un groupe (par opposition à l’autre), associent des valeurs morales à chacun, utilisent des cadres symboliques et des ressources rhétoriques pour soutenir les représentations qui sont faites de chaque acteur (ou groupe), les stratégies font appel aussi aux arguments d’autorité, et emploient une forme prescriptive, pour réussir à configurer et à influencer sur l’opinion publique. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi analisar os vídeos da campanha presidencial de Juan Manuel Santos, presidente reeleito na Colômbia para o período 2014-2018, para determinar e caracterizar as estratégias de legitimidade que permitiram a adesão dos eleitores. A presente pesquisa é mista, como técnicas foram utilizadas: observação não participante e análise de conteúdo, respectivamente; E os instrumentos que cada um oferece, como cadernos e um esquema de análise que permite determinar as unidades e categorias de análise.
