Descripció
Sumari:The research consists in the ex-situ biological treatment of the lagoon of Ubaque, Cundinamarca-Colombia, by means of the application of the bioremediation method with the strains of microalgae: Spirulina maxima, Spirulina platensis and Chlorella vulgaris, with the objective of reducing the levels of nitrates, nitrites and phosphates (NO3 -, NO2 -, PO4 -3) in this water source, and then, determine the purification capacity of the microalgae. To evaluate the effects of bioremediation, an experimental design type (Central Composite Factorial 22 design) was used with the Design-Expert program; the strains were adapted to the conditions of the lagoon and subsequently cultivated according to the design specifications. It was determined that bioremediation with microalgae in the lagoon of Ubaque is a viable alternative to reduce the level of eutrophication; however, not all strains showed significant results.
