Čoahkkáigeassu:In this study, publications in the bioethanol field during 1990-2019 were analyzed using bibliometric indicators with the comparative between Web of Science and Scopus. Logistic equation was used to describe quantitatively the growth of publication research with both databases, the results indicated that Scopus database had a higher rate (0.31 year-1) of publication with respect to WoS (0.29 year-1) in the topic of bioethanol. Bioresource technology was the most frequent journal in the field of bioethanol research. The more influential countries for bioethanol research were USA and China. The model can be used to predict the evolution of publications.
