description The teaching and learning of natural sciences constitute a development process and maturation in students’ thinking, aiming to promote concrete discussions that provide theoretical and practical elements in which      is possible to demonstrate necessary and fundamental relationships between conceptual, social and cultural aspects of the natural sciences. The present document shows some conceptual references around didactics as a science of education and some key aspects about the process of accompaniment of students of the Bachelor in Basic Education with emphasis in Mathematics, Humanities and Spanish Language, in the area of natural sciences, taking into account the curricular guidelines of the area, the disposition of the Ministerio de Educación Nacional de Colombia and its relationship with teaching didactic models.

The present document shows some conceptual references around didactics as a science of education and some key aspects about the process of accompaniment of students of the Bachelor in Basic Education with emphasis in Mathematics, Humanities and Spanish Language, in the area of natural sciences, taking into account the curricular guidelines of the area, the disposition of the Ministerio de Educación Nacional de Colombia and its relationship with teaching didactic models. La enseñanza y el aprendizaje de las Ciencias Naturales constituyen todo un proceso de desarrollo y maduración en el pensamiento de los estudiantes, tienen como objetivo promover discusiones  concretas  que aporten elementos teórico-prácticos en donde se logre evidenciar relaciones necesarias y fundamentales entre elementos conceptuales, sociales y culturales propios de las ciencias naturales. En el presente documento se muestran algunos referentes conceptuales en torno a la didáctica como ciencia de la educación y algunos aspectos claves sobre el proceso de acompañamiento de los estudiantes de la Licenciatura en Educación Básica con énfasis en Matemática, Humanidades y Lengua Castellana, en el área de ciencias naturales, atendiendo a los lineamientos curriculares del área, las disposiciones del MEN y su relación con los modelos didácticos de enseñanza.
